Solzhenitsyn Tribute One Last Tear
Artist
Brian Sereda
Medium
Drawing - Pen And Ink On Folded Yellowed Paper
Description
Pen and Ink , A montage of various sketches forms a surreal collage on a yellowed background of Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Close-up elements of a face, such as an eye and lips, merge with architectural structures and abstract shapes to create an intricate composition and recreates a past that I can Imagine but never know for sure.

I love how if you look closely enough there is a whole like village or maybe mountain range within the bottom lip, alone. At least, that’s what appears to me. This is very cool! I love it !
Brian Sereda replied:
Martha, I had to have another look at the lower lip. Yes you are right there is more hidden there. I love seeing what you see. Thank you so much Martha!

Woah Brian! I'm kinda speechless (which I know is unusual for me, so make the most of it). Been studying this for a few minutes now and getting lost in it. Wonderful tribute to this Nobel prize winner. Just incredible art, my dear friend. Guess I wasn't that speechless then.
Brian Sereda replied:
Issie, thanks for the opportunity! But I like to hear your thoughts! Thanks for the kind words, He was an amazing writer and more. :)
