You will need to entertain this image with your imagination as I did as the light was falling.
I heard a hiss , no a ruffling sound. The light began to fade. I looked over as she looked at me and then didn't move again. I am not sure what it is or was. I admired at a distance. Calling me from farther down the path as the light waned I moved on , turning my back slowly so as not to disturb it. I left declining to look back, but I carefully listened for those footsteps, softly flirting with the forrest path. The next day I came back and the creature was gone leaving a shroud of moss.

Actually Brian, I thought I'd seen this before, and voilà, I had!! Still wonderful!
Brian Sereda replied:
Hey , don't worry, Maggie, I do the same thing, as if drawn back to other artists work , something attracting our minds to the image again, that we like or need to see one more time.
Maggie Terlecki

Wow! That was quite the dream you had! And you've captured it well! ; ) L/F Isn't it something how the forest has its own creatures.
Brian Sereda replied:
I agree Debra, the forrest has its own creatures , I think it is they who wish to be seen by us and not the reverse. Thanks for having a look.

Love the mystery and being able to make up my own story to fit this. Can't decide between a wood nymph or a lost soul. Whatever it was - it's a fantastic image.

It's pretty fantastic that you could see her shape and grow a story around it. Now we see it too, this woman, resting with a basket of flowers on her lap. Her hair pulled up into a ponytail with her veil trickling down her backside. Beautiful! :-) Maggie
Brian Sereda replied:
Maggie, Thanks so much, I love how you added to the story, The pony tail, I see it now! The flowers too, very perceptive and creative, Guess we know that about you!
Brian Sereda
